Technical Committee

OUR SCOPE

-
Promotion of better packaging design and the establishment of Design Guidelines.
-
Collection and repository of packaging information and dissemination of the information to FGC members.
-
Provision of technical support to FGC when packaging decisions are being made.
-
Liaison with other sectors involved in the Packaging Accord.  This may be by direct participation on groups such as EBAG or by close working relationships and input at meetings by groups such as RONZ on specific issues.

The Food & Grocery Packaging Project Technical Committee has been absorbed by the New Zealand Food & Grocery Council's Sustainability Committee. For further information on that committee, contact Lindsay Davidson at the New Zealand Food & Grocery Council.

A key role of the Food & Grocery Council's Sustainability Committee is to deliver on the Packaging Accord brand owners & retailers action plan.
