The Glass Packaging Forum is a non-profit organization, which aims to ensure the ongoing performance of glass as environmentally acceptable packaging.

The Forum was formally established in April 2006, in response to the increase in glass recovery which exceeded the demand from its only existing market at the time i.e. reuse in glass making, and to support and deliver on the objectives, commitments and targets of the New Zealand Packaging Accord 2004.
