The New Zealand Paperboard Packaging Association's (NZPPA) membership covers most of the companies that produce corrugated cardboard and cardboard boxes and packaging in NZ. These companies range from large enterprises like Amcor Kiwi Packaging, Visy Board and Carter Holt Harvey to smaller ones such as Interpac, Pakworld and Boxkraft Ltd.
NZPPAs main focus during the Packaging Accord has been to work with members to enhance environmental sustainability management systems in their companies. This has been very successful with good results for the companies and our New Zealand environment.
NZPPA was also a key driver, along with PrintNZ in the establishment of the NZ Paper Forum, a wider industry group including companies like Norske Skog and Spicers Paper etc. The Forum will focus on the more strategic areas of concern to the paper industry.
